With 3 emeralds I bought a cactus from a street vendor. I planted the cactus in sand and tried to make it grow faster with bone meal, but failed.
I also put water around the cactus to make it grow faster, but to no avail.
Cactus grows by one unit after 20 minutes.
After about two nights I already got 4 cacti.
Cacti only grow on sand!
