I recently got back in touch with my ex. We've put everything behind us and are working on being there for each other in hard times. I'm proud to say, I got your back XOXO Forever your friend - From Dani.
Edit - New Year, New Thoughts, Never Said 'Relationship' Said 'Friendship'.
So my ex has now taken a different path. I'm not annoyed, I still will be there for him if he ever needs it. Ok it's mildly sad. I guess it must be hard to be friends after you've crossed into relationship territory. So the olive branch is there, but no luck on the return support. Oh well. You should care for someone, not just in hope of a reward, but because you just do care. And I do care. Though it would be nice to be his friend I'm respecting that he can't do that. Best of luck to him.
