Today I’m Metal detecting in Laguna Beach at the main beach. As usual, I was late to the party, arriving after the morning shift of detectors had already cleared out most of the targets. But I did manage to find a teeny bit of gold and some other little trinkets. It is starting to feel like the only way to find targets in Southern California is to catch them as they fall off of the people dropping them. The competition down here is tremendous and not for the faint of heart.
