A little snippet from our wedding day just over 6 months ago đ 2020 wasnât all bad, I got to marry the love of my life (but doing it in a worldwide pandemic was definitely not what we thought would happen). Would love to share more of the video, but want to respect the privacy of my husband, and our family and friends. Happy to answer any questions about getting married in a pandemic, and changing wedding plans, etc.
* Fun fact: we walked down the aisle to some of our favourite Disney songs played by an incredible violinist and pianist: Can You Feel The Love Tonight, Once Upon a Dream, and Tale As Old As Time đĽ°
* We were the first wedding/event back from the first lockdown at our venue. The St Regis in Toronto had literally just opened up and they were unbelievably amazing to deal with and made us feel so special ⨠Our timing couldnât have been better since our numbers for covid cases were very low in the city, and the restrictions had just loosened up.
* We sadly had to cut down our list to only our very closest friends and family, everyone wore masks and were seated 6 feet apart (with extra chairs if people wanted to sit alone in their own row), and treats were given to-go. It was a success! We took extra extra precautions all around. Everyone was super safe and no one got sick.
* We had a small but incredible dinner after that with just with our parents and siblings.
* It resembled nothing of our original wedding plans in Naples, FL. It was short, sweet, and ultimately, perfect just as it was.
