this is actually unreal, i cannot believe i pulled this off
By far the biggest fluke I have EVER pulled off, I dont think Ill ever get this lucky ever again. I started playing this before my old hard drive failed, gathering up approximately 12k attempts and an original worst fail of 64% before I lost my data.
Why do I count this as a fluke from 35% though?, you ask? Well, AFTER I lost all of my old data my worst fail was 35%, only passing the first ship once before completing the level today.
When it comes to deco, this level is nothing special, just a grayscale level comprised entirely of bricks and small spikes. I can appreciate it for what it did, though. I still think it has charm for its age.
As for the gameplay, this level is incredibly first 3rd heavy, with the difficulty mostly being in the first cube and ship. The rest of the level isnt that bad in all honesty, and its pretty fun! The first ship kind of ruins it though - overall, pretty solid gameplay, and it aged relatively well.
This is 100% an insane demon - though not the hardest insane demon this is definitely correctly rated. I dont consider this harder than Leyak.
Enjoyment: 8/10

In July 2021, I had a vision for a project I could potentially do after Edge of Destiny - something even more ambitious than it, and maybe even surpass it.
However, I held off starting this until July 2022, after the EoD full showcase released and the verification had started; with a full level under my belt, and with what I felt was sufficient experience with hosting large scale levels, I could finally start executing a vision that had been brewing for 12 months.
After 9 months of tweaks, balancing, building and enhancing, Im proud to present the layout for what I hope shall be my greatest work. EVERCLEAR.
EVERCLEAR is a level thats inspired by Ocular Miracle, but is something I want to be less focussed on art, but moreso on design and effects to convey a sense of intensity and speed, with an ethereal, almost magical feeling about it to replicate what I think the song brings forth in my eyes.
Its a project I want creators to have free will with, and make their own ideas flourish under the somewhat lenient guidelines presented.
I will be on the search for decorators for this project - parts are extremely long and will need to be well optimised.
As for the difficulty, its projected to be top 50 on the demons list. Whenever this gets finished I dont know where it will go, but for now its roughly top 50.

2 years following the initial cancellation of terrawaves, ive decided to revive it and rebuild it from the ground up - i had a spur of motivation to bring it back since i honestly really enjoyed working on it back then; however the old songs were incredibly dated, and frankly not that great.
the approach ill be taking for this new iteration however is quite different, as i will not be working on this alone; a 60+ song project is far too much for one person to take on, (unless youre insane) so ive invited some friends along for the ride. youll get to see them soon enough.
