Mining obsidian in Minecraft is an absolutely boring and thankless task. Whenever you need obsidian to make a portal, ender chest, enchanting table, or beacon you must suffer the gruelling fate of slapping those purple rocks til they break, so I decided to get it all out of the way upfront so I will never have to worry about it ever again! But of course if all I got was obsidian it'd be pretty boring, so I made some other things that will be of great use in the future. Next time things might get a little destructive.
