I bought a new camera and it’s not what you would expect. With the release of literally dozens of new cameras over the past year or so, it can be overwhelming deciding which one is best for you for the money and has all of the specs you need and want. There are so many great cameras out now like the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6k Pro, Sony a7siii, Canon R5, Sony FX3, Sony FX6, Canon C70, Red Komodo, etc.--how do you choose what's best? Well, this camera checked all of the boxes for what I need to make these videos and it doesn’t even shoot 12k 16 bit RAW footage and make me tacos! 😂

What is ProRes RAW exactly, what can it do and how does it compare to BRAW? We did a side by side comparison of the Sony a7siii shooting in ProRes RAW to the Atomos Ninja V and the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6k shooting in Blackmagic Raw to a Samsung T5 SSD. **This video was edited and uploaded in HDR, however its my first time ever using an HDR workflow and Im still learning the best way to do it and get it to look right on YouTube for both SDR and HDR. So yes, I know it LOOKS underexposed, but trust me its not, it was all shot with a proper exposure. It was just graded as SDR on an HDR timeline, which turns out very improperly dark!
