I was on one of my usual “virtual hikes,” as I like to call them scouring google earth searching for remote phenomena to hike to and visit nature, rock formations and century old history from the wild west or that of ancient history from long lost civilizations everything this channel follows. Browsing remote corners of the globe, looking for interesting geographical formations, unusual patterns, anything that sparked my curiosity. And then, I saw it.
My mind immediately started racing. Could this be an abandoned outpost? A forgotten research station? Or something else entirely? The urge to find out more was irresistible. Once I identified the potential settlement the forgotten village unseen on the mountain I found on google earth, the real investigation began. I started zooming in, pixel by pixel, trying to discern the details. I noticed many signs of human interaction with the land and surrounding landscaped these structures call home. I wondered did a modern-day mountain man still lives on this mountain hidden in the shadows. Or was this all but a lost and forgotten settlement? Who was here and what Was I looking at? Something abandoned and unseen centuries ago? Or Modern and refined and restored? What is on top of this remote mountain peak shrouded in thick dense forest waiting to be discovered, explored and documented?
