Star Wars is a multibillion-dollar franchise owned by the Walt Disney company that needs no introduction whatsoever. Even if you’re not a fan, you know what Star Wars is. Formally owned by 20th Century Fox, Star Wars is one of the highest-grossing media franchises in history, with estimated total revenue exceeding $70 billion. While box office revenue for the films is over $10.3 billion, the vast majority of the franchise's earnings comes from merchandise sales, estimated at over $29 billion. Merchandise is all but uncommon, as many items have flown off store shelves, such as Toys, Costumes, Lego Sets, Clothing, Board Games, Video Games, and of course, VHS Tapes, DVDs and Blu-Rays. With the first Star Wars film being released in 1977, VHS releases of the original trilogy, and the first two prequels, are all quite common. Yeah, certain releases can be hard to come by, but there are many common prints to make up for it. It is very easy to find the first six Star Wars movies on VHS… except for one, a prequel renowned for being the best of the trilogy, a prequel that can be found everywhere on DVD and Blu-Ray, yet a VHS copy of the film can be challenging to find.
