I'm opening a map because I really have so so much going on, and I haven't really been able to animate. It's important to remember that I'm still working hard on some projects and am gonna do my absolute best to get into the swing of things. Especially since summer is around the corner. With that being said, let's get into the rules:
- NOT first come first served! (but I doubt many people will join at all, so I probably won't be picky)
- You need examples of art! They don't need to be on your channel, but you have to link your DeviantArt or someplace where I can see your art and assess your skill level
- Make the background black in the parts of the video where it is black and white when it's white
- Do not put any lyrics! I will add them in myself in the final video so that it matches up with the time and has the same font and everything
- If you read the rules, tell me whether you've heard this song before or not and what you think of it
- This is a vent map, so obviously, it's gotta be emotional. If you choose a part with a white background, the tone has to be slightly more lighthearted (like a positive vent), whereas the black parts can be slightly more sad
- please don't make it super gory (ie - organs or bones sticking out or anything like that) you can have self harm bruises and cuts, but don't go over the top. If you have an idea involving a lot of gore, please ask first
- The parts are pretty long, but I'mma say max 2 parts per person, since it's a PMV
- I want the overall tone to be bittersweet (which is why Blaze, the cat in the video, is smiling and crying at the same time), so try make it emotional, but not incredibly depressing "I WANNA DIE" sort of feeling. Try to make it like a peaceful accepting of sadness.
- Don't add too many effects please. I will be adding effects to make it look nice at the end, so don't worry about that
- No animation, but some movement (blinking, teardrops etc) is allowed, and tweening is heavily encouraged
- 16:9 aspect ratio only!
