I modified Ravenholm to add water, make it daytime, and other fun additions (like the Halo Assault Rifle and Portal Gun). The result is spectacular. Half-Life 2 RTX, a fan-made RTX remaster for Half-Life, now has a playable demo on Steam! It features two levels: Ravenholm and Nova Prospekt. If you bring in regular Half-Life 2 maps, you can discover some hidden textures, models, and more.
Orbifold Studios remade assets just for the project, and it looks amazing. Half-Life 2 looks incredible with RTX lighting, but you need a seriously powerful PC to run it well, and DLSS + Frame Generation is a must. Can your PC run Half-Life 2 RTX?
