After seeing Anora win Best Picture, I finally sat down to watch it—and wow, I have a LOT to say. Was it worth the hype? Did it really deserve the Oscar? While the film has some strong themes and moments, I found it to be a chaotic, messy ride that didn’t quite live up to expectations. Between the over-the-top performances, rough pacing, and some seriously questionable dialogue, I struggled to see how this was called a “masterpiece.” But there were some standout moments—especially in the last act—that actually hit pretty hard.
