I've been waiting for this moment for as long as I can remember.
you see, I've played soccer since I was five years old, and growing up, there was always one dream: to see Portugal play at the World Cup.
But what made this moment even harder to believe was everything surrounding it.
Portugal was playing in Toronto… my hometown. On my Wife’s birthday And on the anniversary of the passing of Diogo Jota.
Out of all the places, all the dates, all the possibilities… it somehow lined up like this.
Walking into the stadium, hearing thousands of fans singing, seeing the players step onto the pitch... it honestly didn't feel real.
Getting to watch Cristiano Ronaldo represent Portugal in person.
Someone I've looked up to my entire life. This wasn't just another game. It was the kind of moment you dream about as a kid... and somehow, I finally got to live it.im sure by now you’ve heard about the game, it was one of the most dramatic matches probably In the history of the tournament definitely some questionable referring, would love to know what you think about the result in the comments. but either way, its the last dance for two goats, so much respect for both.
