OneMoreBolt | I Figured Out the Cheapest and Easiest Way To Low Mount My Alternator @OneMoreBolt | Uploaded August 2024 | Updated October 2024, 3 hours ago.
Accessories are often an issue when sorting out where and how to position things in the engine bay and finding the right brackets to make it work can be a real challenge sometimes.
Fortunately for me, this build is ultrabasic and the only accessory I need to mount is the alternator. That said, I hate the way alternators look and they need wires run to them which also can make an engine bay look messy if not carefully planned out.
So the goal here is to tuck the alternator as far down in the engine bay as I reasonably can to hide it from plain sight and allow for wires to be hidden down low as well.
After a good bit of shopping the web and playing with a few ideas, I have come up with the cheapest and easiest solution for getting that alternator tucked away and it's so simple that literally anyone with a grinder can make this work . . . well, unless you plan to run power steering, but even then this idea might still work for you, watch the video and find out how.
