I know, I know, I haven't uploaded anything in an age, and this isn't anything special enough to warrant much attention.
It was going to be my last week of RE, but it kind of failed since I missed the deadline entirely. As in, a week AFTER it closed I proudly announced to Blue that I had a "WHOLE HALF A MINUTE". Oops. That's why the songs switch- I was going to have the first like fourty seconds be the original, and then the rest of the video the cover, but I didn't get anything really edited before this or after other than a REALLY tricky mask that took me hours... only for it to be utterly invalidated. Because, you see, I spent ages masking Serah to sit on the Etro crystal throne thing... only for the Lightning DLC to be released literally THE NEXT DAY, where she spends ages sitting on the damn thing.
Plot wise, before the video started, Noct appeared because he likes to do that, and tries to kill Serah because she's kind of a bitch and he can't let a grudge go. He fails, naturally, since the douche LEAVES HIS PARTNER BEHIND to do it, but as Serah's teasing him and about to kill him, ~someone~ knocks her out from behind and rescues Noct.
She's then dumped on the throne until she wakes up, where Hope finds her. Since brothers are apparently pretty alike, he tries to sneak up and kill her in her sleep, but Yeul, a reaper, is around, so he holds off. But that ends up getting him slaughtered. Cheery, yup yup!
The song is 'Sleep', first by The Smiths, and then covered by Emily Browning.
Oh, and sorry it cuts off at the end. My rendering sucks and it didn't fade off like I thought it was going to.

Im sorry its so short! ;A; Its kind of barely shippy and badly characterised but I had a stab at something serious. As much as I adore Tay-Tay Swizzle, Blue, editing to her is really difficult!

Basic story is that Zack is part of a resistancy thing with Auron and Leanne joins, but hes bitter and grumpy with her once he finds out that shes only fighting to try and regain the throne, let alone that she ordered the destruction of his hometown.
But apparently chemistry wins out, or something.

I cried so, so hard making this.
Ive been in a cheerful mood lately and all. If I had to use a song with my emotions this weekend, itd be something like a YOU BELONG WITH MEEE-EEEE-EEEE! kind of song.
But instead I made this and though I got so upset during it I love it to bits. I may only have two episodes of Vampire Knight, and they may have annoying red subtitles and a retarded watermark by a person that doesnt own the show... but I desperately wanted to make this after I watched the very ending to Guilty again.
I was originally going to dedicate this to Jordan (XxJordiii) but I decided to wait and download soome more episodes so I can make her something with KanaYuu, as much as it pains me to. xD She took the plunge and edited Zeki for me, even though she doesnt like Zero so much (he is NOT just a pretty emo boy! D:) so I figured itd be better if I attempted something with- blarg- Kaname.
But anyway. This is a pretty generic Zero tribute, although I throw Ichiru in for good measure. Hes like... my third favourite character. It goes Shiki then Ichiru and then Zero. xD Buut the episodes I downloaded were very Zero-central (totally on purpose) and stuff.
Only problem was, they were a little glitchy and so the quality might suck in places. The editing in this is minimal; just a little bit of colouring, some glow-whoring and my first try using a motion loop at the start. ^^; Not really raw editing- every clip is pancropped seperately and coloured and glowed and gaaaah... But the closest Ive been to it in a long time.
I do love Zeki. -hums-
And I do plan on editing it a lot more now I know how to download episodes from Youtube. :3

hoo boy I am rustyyyyyy after barely editing other than MEP parts for a hot minute. @Antiques-editing is running an IC at the mo where the theme was choosing a song from a piece of media that meant a lot to you. I was floundering around with options for a WHILE, but I wound up landing on two of the songs from Transistors soundtrack. Its a sliiightly older game by Supergiant, the studio who made Hades and Bastion, and like all their games the soundtrack is an absolute masterpiece. Back when I was at uni working for an indie newspaper I managed to squeak in writing about this game and although I cant access the article anymore (grrrrr capitalism charging prohibitively for their storage space for online archives) I know I absolutely GUSHED about it.
I originally watched Amy play Transistor over a very glitchy Skype call back in like 2014 or 2015? But the story is absolutely beautiful (though horribly sad) and I still well up a bit thinking about our tragic Sword Boyfriend. The music is used incredibly cleverly, too, it factors into the story a bunch and this particular song has my FAVOURITE trope - a dark reprise, which it morphs into over the course of a boss fight. I mixed the original In Circles with the very well put-together Cloudbank Duet by Protegit, and I layered some of the original _n C_rcl_s over the top at points to add a little more distortion.
Arcane also ruined me but I am the worlds slowest editor and havent gotten around to doing anything with it, so heres a Jinx & Vi & Isha (& Vander) lil video. I hope you like it!

Okay, psychic. Im such a paranoid bint sometimes- this might seem lightening fast, but actually most of the video has been done the past few days. I was kind of just waiting to see if anything else happened I needed to add in. xDDD
This feels like /such/ a shameless copy of Blue-chans video. All the conversation bit is practically the same, apart from where Im too lazy to mask. I didnt realise I used the same clips for one part until I watched hers and literally kicked myself as mine was /just/ rendering. D:
Only Riku seems to have monologues, usually while other people are talking, so... xD I can cheat.
If you cant guess the colour scheme when there aren;t any voices (um, well, first off, Im worried about your mental health. Second;) its kind of obvious, but, I dont know. Red is Zackie, Blue is Nami, green is (damn it. Nicknames for him are HARD. xDD Uh, any suggestions, haha?) Riku speaking, and white is anything he thinks to himself. At the start (I nearly forgot ^^;;) Larxy takes eyllow, and I had Zexion as a kind of dullish greyish blue. xD I recommend either reading fast, pausing the video, or watching more than once during the part where theres more than one line going on at once.
I left out a line. Crap crap crap. Just pretend that Riku is so, um, enthralled by the sight of other psychics he momentarily forgets to listen... ^^;
Vague plot kinda thing is basically that Riku keeps having nightmares and such (which are old memories he doesnt want, like when he was betrayed and such) and starts giving himself illusions by accident, because I guess hes trying to take a look at himself and hes not sure he likes what he sees. xD Namines words from the letters keep swirling aroun inside his head, and, in the end, he caves in and goes to find her. Typical Riku stubbornness ensues, I think. =P

Uh, I just really like Three Days Grace but their songs are totally overused, so getting in first with the angsty emo Riku tribute to a TDG song is a big deal for me. xDDD The song literally came out yesterday, thats how quick I guessed Id have to be.

I said I bagsied doing this song with Riku first, and Im actually overwhelmingly proud no one beat me to it.
I noticed just now (eh-heh, this is SO late) that Youtube decided to be a fag and delete my studios audition thingy while I was on holiday, and care not to notify me. I disputed, but they spat back the (still blocked) video into my lap in a crumpled heap. Which is why its not up and the studios wont be returning, as I managed to get myself a nice shiny youtube copyright official warning. JOY.
So, I hopefully will get up a backup sometime soon, if Im allowed on the effing computer for more than an hour anytime soon (seriously. Two hours, today and yesterday. Thats how long this thing took.)...

So a no go) to buy it with money I was saving up for... Days, Scribblenauts, Countless CDs, ACC. Gah. Still not sure of release dates for any of them, though. :/
