We examine Duel of Meloch, a combo of Scythe and Expeditions! This standalone 1-2 player game has many Euro and area control features, like variable player powers and even combat. With a new character and mech for new factions to play with, Stonemaier fans will have a lot to play with here! However we’re really not sure about balance because of how the scoring works with the race track (Jamey Stegmaier’s favorite mechanic). Is the expedition side just weaker, or is it just this box, since we haven’t played with the base Expeditions components nor the expansion content. Just need more time and energy to play Grimcoven!
