I don't know how much protein I eat.

People are always surprised when I say that!

The truth is, I didn't reverse my lupus by counting grams of protein. I reversed it by focusing on micronutrients, not macronutrients.

I actually gave up my high-protein diet of eggs and cheese and started hyper-nourishing my body with nutrient-dense plant foods rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and phytonutrients.

Twenty years later, I'm still lupus-free, fit, strong, and healthy. I have normal labs and don't take any medications.

Do we need protein? Absolutely.

But I believe we've greatly overstated how much protein most people need while underestimating the importance of the nutrients that actually allow our cells to function, reduce inflammation, and repair.

Even wound healing isn't just about protein. It also depends on getting enough vitamin C, zinc, phytonutrients, and many other micronutrients your body needs to build healthy tissue.

Instead of asking, "How much protein did I eat today?" try asking, "How well did I nourish my body today?"

That shift changed my life, and it's helped thousands of people reclaim their health.
