For many people, Jesus is seen as the founder of Christianity. But this conversation with a secular Jewish man in Israel reminds us that Jesus didn't come to just start some new religion. He was JEWISH, through and through!
In this video, we spoke with an Israeli man who described himself as not being particularly religious. He shared that he rarely reads the Jewish Scriptures and has never really explored the New Testament. Yet he was quick to affirm something many people overlook: Jesus was a Jewish teacher, a rabbi, and a son of Israel.
What followed wasn't an argument or a debate. It was an honest conversation marked by curiosity, mutual respect, and a willingness to reconsider old assumptions. By the end, he accepted a New Testament and agreed to read it for himself.
