I grew up obsessed with Star Wars. LEGO sets, Battlefront II, hours on Wookiepedia reading about characters nobody else had ever heard of. It was a huge part of my childhood and teenage years. Then The Last Jedi came out, and something quietly switched off.
In this video I talk about what it actually feels like to fall out of love with a franchise you grew up on, why the new Star Wars content like The Mandalorian And Grogu keeps missing the mark, and why I can't even go back and enjoy the old stuff the way I used to.
This isn't just a rant about bad movies. It's about what happens when a studio strip-mines nostalgia for so long that there's nothing left to feel. And it's about what we lose when the things that shaped us stop feeling like ours.
