Jim Schmidt was a caregiver for his mother, wife and fiancée. Now, he cares for his adult son. Schmidt says keeping a regular exercise routine helps him cope with the challenges of caregiving. For respite care, he takes his son to The Quality of Life Center in Auburn Hills.
