I Couldn't Live Without Your Love 1966
In an interview, Pet Clark said the song was inspired by the affair she was having with one of the songwrites. Clark has cited "I Couldn't Live Without Your Love" and "Don't Sleep in the Subway" as her favorites of her hits.
KLOD Radio is a parody of the AM radio stations I listened to while growing up in the PNW. Before you ask why didn't I listen to FM the answer is, IT DID NOT EXIST YET!
Here you will find spoken word, novelty music, cartoon music, parody advertising, humor and some original work all inside the framework of an AM radio station circa 1965.
One segment of KLOD Radio is, "Then And Now." which is based on a simple idea.
Start with a hit song performed by the original artist and about half way through the song shifts to the same song, same artist on about the same note but at least 35 years later. 35 years is the minimum. I prefer to have the time between, "Then," and "Now" to be fifty (50) years.
