Everyone uses the same Christmas music. But SHOULD they?
I ran an experiment: Same video. Two versions. Only difference? The music.
VERSION A: Generic "royalty-free" Christmas jingle (the one you've heard 1,000 times)
VERSION B: Abbey Road Studios orchestral Christmas score from Artyfile
The results:
β Version B got 340% more watch time
β 156% higher engagement rate
β 89% more shares
β Comments full of "What's this music?!" and "This feels so premium"
Here's what I learned:
Your audience might not consciously notice good music, but they ABSOLUTELY notice bad music. More importantly, they notice OVERUSED music.
When your Christmas content sounds like everyone else's, you've already lost the battle for attention. Your brand gets grouped into "generic holiday content" before viewers even process your message.
But when your content sounds CINEMATIC? Suddenly you're not just another creatorβyou're a PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTION.
Why Abbey Road Studios music works:
β World-class orchestral arrangements (not MIDI samples)
β Emotional depth that generic tracks lack
β Instant premium brand perception
β Nobody else is using these tracks (yet)
Cost: β¬29.90 for lifetime commercial rights
Value: Immeasurable brand differentiation
My Christmas videos used to sound like everyone else's. Now they sound like mini-films.
That's the difference between content people scroll past and content people REMEMBER.
Check out Artyfile's Christmas collection (link in description) and hear the difference for yourself.
Your audience will thank you.
