Hi All,
Happy Saturday! Here's another short little video. I had a 9X12 mix media piece that in the end I did not like because it was just too busy and unbalanced. I kept thinking I just need to chop it up....so today was the day! I had 5 thank you card envelopes so those determined my first cuts. I didn't want to chop up the flower so it worked out to a 3.5X5 size perfect to frame. Now I just have a couple of little pieces that may end up as bookmarks or go into a journal. I wanted each piece to look like its own intentional art piece so I added a bit of metallic pen work to add a little shimmer. Then sealed them and made cards with the five. I thought I'd do the last piece on camera for you just for fun. I'm so happy I got over my fear of cutting up all those hours of work. I love each of them so much more now. I hope you'll give this a try.
Happy Making!
While I used several brands of pens, my favorite are Gelly Roll pens by Sakura.
