https://resinc.com.au/diyforknuckleheads/ What started as a solar installation on my own home turned into something far more meaningful when I was given the opportunity to donate a complete solar and battery system to a charity or organisation of my choosing.
I knew I wanted to support an organisation that was a Not-For-Profit and one that truly relies on the generosity of the community. That journey led me to the incredible Freedom School in Coffs Harbour, where Indigenous students learn both mainstream education and traditional culture in a welcoming and inspiring environment.
To make the project even more special, I also built a native stingless bee, beehive for the students, giving them a hands-on way to learn about pollination, biodiversity and the important role these amazing little bees play in our ecosystem.
A huge thank you to the incredible team at Resinc Solar for not only installing the system in some seriously hot conditions, but for their commitment to giving back to communities through projects like this. Every dollar this system saves can now be redirected back into educational programs for the students.
