This is one of the most remarkable animals I’ve ever presented to the camera, and by far the largest snake I’ve ever captured in the wild. After an entire day of searching, and many close calls, we finally got our snake, and boy is she beautiful!
The Burmese Python isn’t venomous, it’s a constrictor. This means it coils around prey items until they're ready to consume. I experienced this first hand with this 10ft Python, and the strength is unbelievable! This is not a snake I would want to tangle with on my own, but thanks to the help of @TheCritterCult I was able to present this snake to the camera.
