Happy Halloween, guys. I know this isn't a very Halloween-y video, cause it's not supposed to be. I started this two months ago but only finished it tonight due to school + lack of inspiration and time. I'm honestly really relieved to get a video up after over two months of inactivity (which I'll explain later).
The basic storyline of this is that Kovu is manipulated, controlled, and looked down on by Scar (not his father this time around, but his mentor). Scar makes Kovu feel small and powerless, like a cub stuck in a corner. Scar's treatment towards Kovu affects other areas of Kovu's like, such as Kiara trying to befriend him and becoming part of Simba's pride. Overall, Kovu feels very stressed by Scar's constant presence in his life, but rebels against him whenever possible, under his breath. Pretty shitty storyline, but yeah xD Interpret it as you wish.
I know this is pretty raw, I was planning on doing pan crop at first, but then I just figured that it would look crappy, and decided to leave it as is. I enjoyed editing it for the most part, especially all of the Kovu/Scar parallels. I hope you all enjoy it as well.
Now, the reason why I've been inactive since late August is because of, as I've said before, school, as well as my home life being very stressful and time consuming. Between the constant homework and projects, keeping in touch with my friends, and taking care of things at home, I've barely had any time to edit. However, lack of inspiration is also playing a part in this editing funk. Lately, editing anything is a struggle. I open Vegas and my mind just goes blank. I'm pretty much struggling to finish anything right now, even MEP parts. Luckily I could at least finish this.
I'm probably going to be a bit more active now on YouTube, now that I've finished most of my projects and the first quarter of the school year has passed. I may still not edit much due to life not having slowed down yet, but I will try to edit as much as I can, and I promise, I will eventually return. Thanks for sticking with me, guys ♥
