I have not cut my hair in almost four years ...
My hair has always been a huge part of my identity. It's the one thing I can control about how people perceive me. Over the past year I've wanted to cut my hair, but I put it off because I was scared. But some people don't get that choice.
I’m chopping my hair to donate it to Variety so a wig can be made for Australian adults and kids who have lost their hair due to a long-term medical condition.
I am hoping to donate at least 35 centimetres / 14 inches.
If you choose to donate, your donations will go towards providing grants for kids across Australia who have lost their hair due to medical conditions such as alopecia, cancer and trichotillomania. All donations go straight to Variety - I personally cannot withdraw money from my fundraiser.
My hair will be cut on the 14th of February! And a video will be posted to my YouTube channel of the cut!
I would really appreciate any donations big or small.
