CRASHOUT INCOMING!!! This Audi SQ5 was supposed to be a PERFECT project car for me… but things went sideways really quick. The reason? Well, Copart messed up royally. From misleading auction site photos to potentially ILLEGAL activity by the scrapyard and their higher ups by not providing a title, this thing is now… a giant paperweight. We go over all of the pitfalls and problems of buying used cars, salvage title cars, and downright undrivable cars off of Copart and many other auction sites, and then explain how you can avoid all of these exact problems I went into. I don’t want you to end up in the same ~ $20,000 pit I’m in right now, so be sure to watch it all and leave any extra tips you might have from your own experiences in the comments below.
With that being said… companies like Copart are some of the most UNTRUSTWORTHY and UNRELIABLE on the market. We’re talking about a company with a + $30 BILLION market cap who couldn’t care less about you or your problems. The whole buying process is broken, and I’m here to pull back the curtain and, frankly, call out these companies that prioritize volume and profits over customer satisfaction. We all deserve to know… do you think I’m ever gonna get my money back from this?? Of course not! So, hopefully with this video, we can affect a *little* change in the way the auction car marketplace works, and at the very least educate you on exactly what you need to know so you can decide if the risk is worth the potential reward.
