The Sportsmen 383DBK is absolutely MASSIVE for a travel trailer.
At nearly 43 feet long, KZ used all that space to create something you don’t see very often in a bumper-pull camper:
TWO BEDROOMS. TWO BATHROOMS.
Instead of one big open sleeping area or a traditional bunkhouse tucked into the corner, you’re getting separated spaces that give this RV a completely different feel.
That’s what makes this floorplan so interesting to me.
You get the traditional main living and kitchen area in the center of the camper, while the bedrooms are separated from the main gathering space.
And having two bathrooms is a HUGE deal when you’re traveling with a larger group.
No waiting for one bathroom.
No making everyone walk through the entire camper in the middle of the night.
And no fifth-wheel hitch required to get this kind of floorplan.
That’s probably the craziest part.
This is still a TRAVEL TRAILER.
It’s 42’ 11” long, has an 11,000-lb GVWR, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and enough separation to make you question just how much RV they managed to fit behind a bumper.
It’s definitely not going to be the right camper for everyone…
But if your biggest priority is SPACE, this thing is an absolute monster.
So I have to ask…
