Adventurer turned Amputee - Luke Tarrant had a devastating motorbike accident, whilst travelling through Colombia during his solo mission to complete the mammoth journey he was on, where he planned to go from America to Antartica. The accident left him clinging to life, battling sepsis, his organs failing and ultimately having to have his badly damaged leg amputated. In this clip, Luke shares exactly how different his life is after becoming an amputee, how having a prosthetic leg effects everyday situations we take for granted, what "Phantom Limb Pain" is and just how painful it can be, the incredibly precious item his Dad managed to recover from the crash site and what it was like travelling on a air ambulance private jet back home
