Here's how I made a Spider-Man self tightening suit from the Marvel / Sony Spider-Man movie Spider-Man Homecoming. The suit features 23 nitinol springs that contract when heat is applied. This is done by passing current through the springs, causing the suit to shrink down to fit the user just like in the movie. I also made several web shooters and the moving Spider-Man mask to go with it.
