I made a wooden tube pump that moves liquids and air by squeezing a flexible tube with rollers.
The mechanism is very simple, but because the liquid or air only passes through the tube and never comes into contact with the pump itself, it can be used not only as a water pump, but also as an air pump or even for creating a vacuum.
For this project, I tried to make the structure using woodworking techniques as much as possible and tested how well it actually works.

It’s a slightly unusual wooden pump that can be used for a variety of applications.
The performance changes significantly depending on factors such as the material and hardness of the tube and how strongly the rollers press against it, so I experimented with these details while building it.
