Building a thatched roof for my hut was a lot more work than I expected. Over 35 willow branches, about 200 fan palm leaves, and over 500 feet of rope and cordage were used to put all this together. It is summer and the nights are comfortable so I don't need walls yet. Now that this major project is complete I will be able to focus on other aspects of primtive living.
