![Embedded Swift meets ESP32(C6). New language for the embedded environment? #Swift #Embedded #ESP32C6
Apple announced Embedded Swift at WWDC2024. This means that system development is possible using the Swift language even in an embedded environment. If you develop apps for iOS or Mac and are familiar with the Swift language, you may be able to develop applications for embedded devices or systems based on microcontrollers. Because it is still in its early stages, there are not many use cases, but I hope to see interesting system flows based on Swift.

What if your photo frame didn’t just display memories, but captured them on demand—and then ran on zero power?
Meet PaperCam: A custom-built, standalone e-paper photo frame camera powered by an ESP32-S3 and an EPDIY v7 driver board. In this video, I break down how it works, from USB Host UVC camera integration and capacitance touch triggers to the 5V power supply setup.

![Building a Smart Home with MQTT: Two-Way Communication using Home Assistant and ESP32 (Part. 1)
In this video, we explore the fascinating world of two-way communication using MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) between Home Assistant and an ESP32 microcontroller. With MQTT, we establish a seamless connection between the Home Assistant platform and the ESP32, allowing for real-time sensor data exchange and control.
Through a step-by-step demonstration, we showcase the entire workflow of setting up this powerful communication system. Without delving into the intricate details of MQTT, we focus on providing a practical guide to integrate the ESP32 with Home Assistant and leverage its capabilities for home automation and monitoring.
Throughout the video, youll witness how easy it is to attach various sensors to the ESP32 microcontroller and observe the sensor data in real-time on Home Assistants intuitive user interface. Whether its temperature, humidity, motion, or any other type of sensor, the possibilities are endless.
Furthermore, we highlight the bidirectional nature of MQTT by showcasing how you can send specific commands or data from Home Assistants dashboard directly to the ESP32. This opens up a world of possibilities for interactive automation, where you can control devices or trigger actions on the ESP32 remotely, right from the convenience of Home Assistant.
Join us on this exciting journey as we bridge the gap between Home Assistant and ESP32 using MQTT, and unlock the full potential of smart home automation and monitoring.

![A Monitor Without a Backlight? Testing the Eazeye RLCD Indoors & Outdoors!
If you spend hours at a desk and struggle with eye fatigue, this might be the most important piece of tech you see this year. Today we’re looking at the Eazeye 24-inch RLCD Monitor 2. Unlike your standard LED screen, this uses Reflective LCD technology to mimic the feel of paper using natural light instead of a harsh backlight.
Display: 24” RLCD Panel (1920 x 1080)
Refresh Rate: 60Hz (Smooth for video & scrolling)
Power: Ultra-low 5W (Runs off a single USB-C cable!)
Health: Zero flicker, no blue light, zero glare.

GitHub is like a treasure chest, with so many cool projects being shared. In this series Finding Cool Project, Ill introduce you to some cool and useful projects. Although it is a very short video, I think it can convey the content very effectively.
In the first episode, I introduce the 3d GFX library for Teensy/ESP32. This converts the obj file to h file and can be displayed on the screen with texture. 3D rendering on a low-power MCU was thought to be nearly impossible, but it was possible. I think it can be useful in your project.
