Retro Gadget Man (RGM) | I BUILT A COMMODORE AMIGA Style Tank Mouse in the "STEAMPUNK STYLE!" #amiga @RetroGadgetMan | Uploaded December 2021 | Updated October 2024, 22 hours ago.
I BUILT A COMMODORE AMIGA Style Tank Mouse in the "STEAMPUNK STYLE!"
Here is my commodore Amiga Steampunk style computer mouse that I have built.
I did not want to cannibalize a genuine Amiga mouse so I recycled an old pc laser mouse, and built it with the Amiga mouse's style and design in mind.
I also wanted this to be compatible with any pc.
Using a USB to serial Amiga adapter, I can also use it on my Steampunk commodore amiga A500 computer or any other Amiga.
And have the advantage of using Lazer technology instead of the trackball which is not as accurate.
While I do love old technology, the trackball mouse is not a very user friendly device.
Music used in my video's is royalty free from YouTube studio.youtube.com/channel/UCmr5E31xJt9LNodTq_YGvZQ/music
I also use Licensed music from danosongs.com/#music which I have paid for.
Intro theme created by VRF using Band lab
