It happens to the best of us—even Cybertruck owners! In this video, I’m walking you through a "Tesla Fail" moment where a high curb at a Barstow Rivian charger got the better of my Cybertruck's rear wheel fairing. After a quick roadside "surgical" removal with help from my buddy Eric, we continued our trip to Las Vegas for CES. I scheduled for a Tesla Service after coming home.
I originally thought I’d have to go into the Service Center, but Tesla’s team determined this was a perfect job for a mobile visit. I’ll show you exactly how the technician, tackled the repair, which was more complex than I thought—it actually required removing the running boards and the front mud flap just to get the new fairing properly seated!
I’m also breaking down the costs, and you’ll be surprised at how inexpensive the parts actually are.
