Eight months ago, a software update rendered my M1 Mac mini completely unusable. With no warning and no plan to upgrade, I ended up replacing it with the base M4 Mac mini.
Since then, Apple's smallest desktop has quietly become the backbone of my workflow.
In this video, I’m sharing my real experience after 8 months of daily use, not from benchmarks or stress tests, but from how it actually performs in my setup as a content creator.
My workflow isn’t heavy Hollywood-level editing. Instead, the Mac mini acts as an always-on hub for my external storage, allowing me to access all of my files across my setup while editing on my 15" M3 MacBook Air.
