When a Datsun needs to be saved, you KNOW we're going to do something about it. This Z though, is something truly special. This specific 240Z has been in one family for the last 50 years. Chad, the current owner has been its steward for nearly 30 years and today, you & I get to see to it that it gets back on the road.
Nissan and the Z platform have always had a special place in my heart. When I was 19, my first "real build" was a 1976 Datsun 280Z. It was that car that I learned what a "small block chevy" was. I learned how terrible Autozone mods were, and I learned that 400HP is A LOT in a 2,100lb car. Now 11 years later, we get to do it again. This time we know a bit more, but the challenge is a lot taller. We're working on a car that is the definition of a project car, and that's not a good thing.
Nothing is fully complete, the parts and its build are nearing a 10 year journey
