The Fake Kamasu Story
Needed a black dial Kamasu for a bracelet photo shoot. Bought one on eBay listed as genuine. The second it arrived — the smell alone was a giveaway. Mineral crystal instead of sapphire, charcoal dial instead of black, day/date barely fitting the windows, wrong font, ridiculous end link play on the bracelet, and a movement that was clearly not Orient. The seller argued it was real. It wasn't. Reported. Kept it for the story.
Lesson: buy from authorized dealers. Caveat emptor.
Orient Bambino 38mm — New Arrivals (~$300)
The Bambino needs no introduction — it's been around for over a decade across multiple versions. The 38mm hits a sweet spot in the lineup and four new colorways just came in.
