The Nissan 240sx has always been an interesting car. It has never achieved the mythic status of the Toyota Supra, Acura NSX, or Mazda Rx7. But, the Nissan 240sx is still loved by many and has an enormous following with plenty of aftermarket support. Like some other JDM models from the 90's era, the Nissan 240sx's only real draw back is its 4 cylinder engine. With not a lot of power potential, owners often swap out the KA24 from their Nissan 240sx, in favor of something with a little bit more displacement. Like a Chevrolet LS1 V8!
Due to the age of the Nissan 240sx chassis, they often don't pop up at Copart salvage auction. The few that do, normally are not heavily modified. This car though, is a major exception! Not only did it make it to salvage auction after a HARD crash. But, all of the modifications remain on the vehicle. We thought we struck gold when the hammer closed at roughly $5500 for this wrecked Nissan 240sx. But, time will tell if that is the case in this Nissan 240sx Salvage Story!
