I recently bought a Corvette C6 ZR1. This has been one of my all-time favorite Corvettes ever because it is in an interesting middle-point in time where it's not cutting new tech, it's got a little old-school to it, it's old enough to feel nostalgic to me but not old enough to be a true classic. (Yet) It's RWD, 6-speed manual transmission, 6.2L supercharged V8 making 638hp and 604 lb-ft of torque, 205 mph top speed, carbon ceramic brakes, lot of carbon fiber construction, all talking about a car that was first available in 2009. It went on to be built from 2009 to 2013 with right around 4,684 or so being built. It was a six-figure supercar disguised as just a C6 Corvette. It unapologetically killed supercars costing 4x what the C6 ZR1 did and all this time later, it is still unreliably fast by today's standards. I'm excited to showcase it on the channel some more here very soon. Thanks for watching!
