The Mizuno GX Sonic III ST (circa 2017, the iconic Caeleb Dressel colourway) is one of the most loved sprint suits ever made — and I found three of them on Buyee for £43. In the same haul I picked up a rare A6 (£22), a brand-new Arena Aquaforce Lightning (£32), a Mizuno GX Sonic Royal PW (£160) and a brand-new Mizuno GX Sonic 8 MR (£190) — all a fraction of UK retail. Kieran Grant then raced the £43 Mizuno at Nationals and walked away with two national titles and two lifetime bests. The suit doesn't make the swimmer — but you really don't need to spend £300 to race world-class.
