Today I played “Worming from Home”, a viral indie game where you are a worm working from home as an accountant, because apparently even creatures without bones are not safe from corporate employment. This game is basically a remote work simulator mixed with ragdoll physics, stock market crimes, keyboard abuse, and the crushing realisation that a worm might be more financially responsible than I am.
In this funny 10 minute gameplay video, I try to survive the brutal world of spreadsheets, phone calls, finance work, and flopping around my desk like a wet noodle with a LinkedIn profile. “Worming from Home” lets you bash your worm body across the keyboard, pretend to do actual work, invest money, and somehow climb the corporate ladder despite having no arms, no legs, and absolutely no qualifications.
