I genuinely thought I'd beaten the level… Mario had other plans. 😂

After surviving a barrage of Hammer Brothers and some tricky final jumps in this Super Mario Bros. ROM hack, I FINALLY reached the flagpole.

Level complete, right?

NOPE. Mario suddenly glitches to the opposite side of the screen and drops straight to his death! 💀

I was absolutely stunned. Of all the ways I expected this run to end, THAT wasn't one of them.
