The iron test finally happened. Last month my Nurge hoop crushed the stitches on my Shepherd's Bush Terri stocking, and so many of you told me the very same thing. Teresa, just give it an iron, it will fluff back up. So in this video I did exactly that, on camera, and I am showing you the honest result rather than the one I was hoping for.
It has been a strange August. The UK heatwave made it too hot to stitch, my RodeCaster Duo failed (it turned out to be the phantom power, not the microphone), I bought a whole new computer and it still did not fix it, and we are filming back in the kitchen where this channel first started. But I was determined that a whole month was not going to pass with nothing to show, so I turned to finishing instead, and came away with three cushion FFOs, my first ever ladder stitch, and a filling discovery I will never go back on.
