The biggest pain point in my makeup collection is hands-down my lip collection. I spent the last 9 years collecting, reviewing and swatching lip products. And now we're sorting through all of my lip products to either keep, donate or shelve.
As a full-time beauty content creator, my collection often feels like "office supplies". In this video, I wanted to move away from the "disposable" feel of a traditional declutter and instead do a more mindful Makeup Collection Audit. I’m sharing the raw data of what it's like to manage a professional inventory, including the shocking percentage split between PR and personal purchases, and how I'm trying to stay mindful in an industry built on overconsumption.
