i had a scintigraphy of my thyroid done - and for this, i was injected with 70 MBq of the radionuclide technetium (Tc99m pertechnetate). i am radioactive woman, and i'm having fun! \o/ ^_^

the video of a mouth cancer patient being irradiated - with the original sounds. i only turned up the sharpness a bit so you could see the highly energetic photons striking the camera CCD a bit better. notice how the cams microphone is disturbed by the rays, too.
