"From the first moment I saw her. I knew I couldn't let her go."
The only piece of evidence I found from her murder. The laptop on my lap was warm, and each time I heard it the memory of seeing pictures of her broken body appeared in my mind. I'd blink and it would temporarily disappear. Only this time, it remained, seared into my soul. My eyes tightened and I rested my forehead in my palm. Waiting for it to pass. It was said to be one of the most brutal cases, and while I wouldn't go that far, I knew if the perpetrator wasn't caught it would only continue.
