Reallusion's Character Creator 5 recently released, and with it a lot of new features. In this tutorial John begins with the new HD Characters that provide vastly more mesh and map detail, kits together a "virtual Gandalf", adds dynamic wrinkles, explores the life-saving features in the new Corrective Morphs, and then transfers the character into iClone 8.

Once in iClone he then does face motion capture via Iclone's Motion Live plug-in and covers various tools to refine the results.

As a last "off-screen" step, John alters his voice to be more "Gandalf-like" by utilizing ElevenLabs' tools.

The final result is Gandalf reciting one of Bilbo's passages from the book The Hobbit -- because who doesn't love a nice hobbit tale?! ;)
