The Eminence in Shadow is a Japanese light novel series written by Daisuke Aizawa and illustrated by Tōzai. It began serialization online in May 2018 and has been published by Enterbrain since November 2018. The series is about Cid, who is transported to another world with magic powers. Cid forms Shadow Garden, an underground organization that fights an evil cult he created. However, the cult is real and is not happy that Cid's power fantasy has impeded their plans.
